Oh I am so very sorry. I imagine she is miserable. As for her little bum, try coating it with either some Vaseline or diaper rash cream. It will soothe the skin and protect it from further breakdown from the diarrhea. If it were me, I would use Pedialyte rather than juice, as juice usually contributes to diarrhea. Just watch for signs of dehydration: sunken eyes, dry tongue and membranes in the mouth, decreased urine output, and decreased capillary refill (press on her fingernail bed and release. It will be blanched/white. Count the seconds until it turns pink again...should be 3 seconds or less. ) Good luck....keep a close eye on her!

Oh dear, do not feed her solid food right now. Give her plenty of water or soup to prevent her from dehydration. As for fever, give her Gatorade, Gatorade will help on the fever and sponge her frequently to cool her down. As for juice, try not to give too much as she having diarrhea; just appropriate will do. Plenty of water and soup are good. For her little bum, apply some ointment to make her feel better. Take care, she will recover after your good care.

Aww that is so sad. I sincerely hope she gets better! Maybe you should take her to a different doctor because to me it sounds like something is wrong and she should be looked at right away. Something could be wrong (not trying to scare you) and if there is then you want to get it taken care of. Either way, good luck! I hope your little girl gets better VERY VERY soon!

I hope your baby will feel better soon. It is so hard for us mothers to see our child get sick. Just keep her dehydrated and hope your doctor can prescribe her medicine coz diarrhea and vomiting isn't normal at all especially with fever. Tell her get well soon! I know she is getting lots of TLC from you.

Could I also recommend you look at this discussion? http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1084104.aspx
It looks similar to what your daughter is going through, and this child was hospitalized. Again, I'm just trying to look out for your daughter because I don't want anything to happen to her! Again, good luck!

Try giving her the BRAT diet. Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, and Toast. It will help keep her hydrated, and a little fiber to thicken the poop. These are also fairly easy to eat on a upset tummy.
I would also suggest pedialyte (it's like a gatorade for kids) instead of the juice. Juice will have a lot of sugar added to it, and doesn't help with the diarreha.
Give that little honey a great big squeeze from me, and I hope she feels better soon!!!
