Human sacrifices was pagan. In today's equivalent that would be like TV Networks sacrificing their athletes' safety for the sake of ratings and entertainment.

Galdiator's a good movie...The equivalent sport today is the UFC but it is a little safe because it is scientific and fighters are immediately separated when one appears to immediately get hurt...The ancient Gladiator fights have no space in our modern society now.

ive heard fighters from UFC often die, so it would be as good as what you say.. anyways real gladiatorial fights which human are sacrificed should be a NO NO, only a YES on movies

yes, i've enjoyed watching this movie, actions are so thrill, casting are great, but one thing i don,t like the movie is too violent, but it's great for fun.

I loved everything about the movie i love films like this that bring back history, i think UFC would be the closest thing to the Gladiator fights , there is a form of martial art still being practiced today that involves the fighting style of Gladiators , you remember the short swords that are in gladiator that the gladiators used? they used them the whole martial art is based on how to fight with these swords and other various weapons What we do in life Echos in Eternity
