How do you take care of your skin when you get a zit? I try to wash my face everyday with warm water (my skin can't handle most cleansers) and make sure to mosterize every day. But I still get pimples. I have tried Clearasil which made my face red, I tried Noxema and my face was red and stung. I tried St. Ives apricot scrub and it cut open my face and gave me even more zits.
What do you use? What do you do when you get a zit? Do you have an acne gel that dries it up? I have some Clinque acne gel, but I haven't tried it yet. I am a popper. Yes, I am one of those people that will get in front of the mirror and pop a zit. it's gross, but I cannot stand them on my face.

I have the same problem. I was just thinking the other day, I'm 34 and shouldn't have this problem - it's not real bad but most of my friends don't have any problems. I use Dove Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser at night and I use Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment on the big ones. I really like the Dove product because it smells good and leaves my face nice and smooth. I also started using the Dove Exfoliating Cleansing Pillows with the Skin Vitalizer. I really like it. Good luck finding something that works!

i'm a popper too honey! it's a huge bad habit of mine. if i'm frustrated or stressed, i go look at myself in the mirror, and find something to pop. horrible! i'm using proactive. used it in the past, then didn't have the money to order every other month. but i told my hubby that i'm going to do it, to follow thru, cuz i can't take this acne anymore, and it make you feel like crap having all those zits. i love it, however my friend didn't. you hear good and bad of it. but i like it! also, i use toothpaste as a spot treatment, if i got a biggie i dab a bit of toothpaste, and the swelling goes down. dries it right up. however, when i was in the 7th grade, i put the paste all over one of my cheeks...and the next morning i had an almost what looked like a burn...SO only use it RIGHT ON the zit itself, don't spread it out!! but it helps when you have a painful zit!! and another product that's great is neutrogena spot treatment!! LOVE that stuff and a lil goes a LONG way. lasts forever for a little tube. the spot treatments may work well on your sensitive skin, as you place them JUST on the zits, not all over your face!
