I've been using the standard Word Perfect 12, and have no complaints, but then recently came across Microsoft Word, and have been tring it out a little, I'm not sure I like it as well, but then I'm not use to it either...
What do you use, and is there one out there that is the cat's meow, that I haven't heard of? what would you recommend.

What else but MS Word.
MS Word have revolutionized every clerical jobs from office secretaries to corporate managers and executives. From students to teachers, it is very helpful, valuable and convenient to use. With an instant spell check and online helps, it truly is on top of any word processing programs.
With varied usefulness from typing jobs to making simple business communications letter. Indeed it's a program with far excellent performance!

I have the Microsoft Office on my computer. So I use the Microsoft Word. I really like it I guess cause I'm used to it. I've only used the word perfect a couple of times before.

Oh gosh.. I thought word perfect has been phased out big time. :P
It's good that you stumbled upon word...
By the way, you can get openoffice which is the free source equivalent of microsoft word. It is free and available at www.openoffice.org .
I use either one of these 2 when I need to type long or official stuffs. But normally, I just type on the browser or fire up notepad.

I use Microsoft Word and I also use Microsoft Works but I have never use Word Perfect 12. In my opinion, Microsoft Works is easier to use than Microsoft Word.

I use Microsoft Word, but it's not the processing system that matters. It's the words coming out on the pages. Inspiration is the key to being a great writer. A program is just a tool.

I used to use whatever I could get my hands on and that was never Microsoft Word even though I was trained on Microsoft Word. Word Perfect is like Microsoft Word in a sense, but some of the controls are different. Now that I've gotten my hands on a copy of Microsoft, that's been the standard program for my writing.
