wELL THIS DAY REALLY BIT THE BIG ONE AS FAR AS MY RELATIONSHIP. fIRST OFF SOME KNOW THE STORY OF MY SON. wE LOANED HIM $400 UNDER THE AGREEMENT HE'D PAY US $100 A WEEK BACK. wELL HE SCREWED US THE FIRST WEEK PAYING JUST $30. nOW fRIDAY HE CALLS SAYING HE HAS A CHECK FOR $140 FOR US. Dam caps. Grrr. Then today he calls saying he can give us the check but would we give him $30 also for lunch money etc. Now the wife and I got into a huge arguement about it. He got his $30 and I'm at the point I could care ;less about him and the loan balance. Then tonight I mentioned to dad he needs more exercise and my wife gives me the evil eye once again. I'm sick of today. No comments nor advice wanted.

Oh grandpa, I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I can understand what you're feeling. I remember responding to your previous thread and hoping that your son will learn to stand up on his own. I really don't know what advice to give you. Maybe, you should start steeling your heart more and stop giving any money to your son. Your son will not grow up if he knows he have you and your wife to depend on.

Awww, hope that helps, I know sometimes I just like to rant and complain to my boyfriend, he is so wonderful, he won't say anything, just let me go on until I am finished and then he asks if I want advice or if I am done, usually I am done, always feels so good afterwards.

Ok, I would not have commented here but...
first, if you didn't want comments, you would not have started this discussion. I never believe you are money-minded.
second, your complain is something more generally expected from teenagers, nice to hear it from you :)
My sympathies are with you though I find nothing wrong. People form misconceptions sometimes and give 'evil eyes' to others. That's natural in life:)
So long, you have not replied to anyone but still I hope to get a comment from you. So if you want to take revenge for my bad words (if any) just don't reply. It's simple!

No advice from me Bob, I just wanted to tell you a saying someone told me when i was having a little trouble with my own daughter..."when they are two, they walk on your feet, and when they grow up they walk on your heart", children dont realize the hurt they can cause by not listening, especially when it comes to advice...but I do hope that this day goes better for you and tomorrow is a little better..cheers!

How old is your son? I would always help my kids out but not with real cash, I would drive to the gas station and fill up his car, or make him a meal etc, but it sounds like he needs a big reality check.
No one tells us when we bring a newborn home that years later he will still be causing grief in the home do they?
Good luck.

Being one of your friends here I can say that we are here not to judge you ,give advice etc....just to hear you whenever you need.
