Here in Australia we eat all the cute things that people in other countries come to see :)
We're also the only country that eats it's coat of arms - the Emu & Kangaroo! We also eat snake, crocodile, but honestly - Kangaroo meat is the BEST - it's much like beef in colour etc but it's flavour is much stronger & tastes really nice!
We also have a thing called Damper, it's like a bread kind of thing, that you cook when you're camping - over an open fire - very nice with Jam & cream!

Most of what we have in the United States was originally created elsewhere, except some Native American and Mexican foods, which I love. So, I would say that Indian (Native American)Fry Bread is my favorite. I love it with refried beans and I would also eat it with beef and cheese if it wasn't for the sodium.
Also, I like Carne Asada, tacos and burritos.
One can also say that southern cooking is an American creation, but I don't eat that much to know what to recommend. I know that fried chicken and red rice and beans are spectacular, but are not very healthy.
