How early do your kids, or do you have to get up for school?

I make sure my boys are up at 6am to start getting ready for school. They have to be at the bus stop by 7:30am.

Thanks for your post. I wish mine could catch the bus around then, but she is already at school at 7:30am.

Thanks for you post. I live about 6 miles form my daughters school. And she still has to get up early, and catches the bus at 6:35am. I just feel its too early for little kids, she is only 7.

When my son was still attending high school he use to get up at 4:30am and leave the house by 5:15 am. I would be up at 4:30am also and go for my 5 mile walk, then I would wake my daughter up around 5:45am and we would leave to start the day off. God Bless

I let mine sleep as late as possible. School doesn't start until 9, and we walk. Usually we are up between 6:30and 7:30

my kids gave to get up at 5 am to be ready and on the bus at 6:15 , the boys are ok since they have always been early risers but my dauhters love to sleep in like mom LOL so its not easy for us i dont like it cause thay are so young , when my youngest starts pre k next yr im sure that will be FUN ..........

Yeah, I like to sleep too. So do my kids. Some mornings like this morning, none of us could get up on time. So my oldest missed the bus and my huisband had to take her to school. I sure am glad that he knows I dont like to get up in the mornings. He usually has to take her once a week at least. Oh well, at least she gets to school.

My son's school starts at 8:30, but he's usually awake by 6:30-7am. I can't imagine having to get my kids up by 6! My husband's first alarm goes off by 6, though. He hits snooze a few times, and doesn't get up til 6:30, sometimes 7. LOL
