what's one thing that turns you off the most in relationship?

The one thing that turns me off the most in a relationship is disrespect. Respect for me is the most important thing in a relationship. If there's respect, there is trust and honesty. Then each person in that relationship would'nt do anything to hurt his/her partner's feelings.

For certain, it's "I'm older than you, so I know better". My husband does this to me sometimes and it really ticks me off. Yes, he's 3 yrs older than me but it doesn't necessarily mean that he knows everything. If I have to count my fingers to site various events that has happened to our relationship, that proved he doesnt know everything. He acts as if because he's older, I'm expected to bow down to certain decisions regarding our family. But the truth is, many of his decisions are way off and not helpful at all. So, I always try to reason out with him. If truth be told, sometimes I think, I'm more matured than he is.

i pack my things and went away with my kids due to abusive behavior i tried to work it out for years but he didnt change so thats it.

like they say, honesty is the best policy. For me, that's really true. I hate it when someone lie to me and most especially, in the relationship. That's the one thing that will turn me off from the relationship.

For me, either untruthfulness or abusive behaviour will turn me off in a relationship. As far as I understand, there is no point to have this type of man to ruin my life, especially there are many gentlemen in this world. LOL

I say it quits when infidelity occurs, abusive behavior and taking me for granted!

When the guy is not worthy of my trust and respect... That is the time that I feel its no good to stay in relationship. For me it is important that the guy I am with is worthy of my trust and that guy is someone I can respect. Of course I try to resolve the problem... talk about it and try to make things work. He have to earn my respect and trust back.

i think its untruthfulness that will hurt me more than anything...i can stand anything but a false from my loved one..it makes u feel that u r losing respect in the eyes of someone u adore the most n compells to think that the person doesn't really care wat a false statement can mean to u...

lying definately. big lies little lies, i hate all lies equally. if i cant trust someone to tell me the truth it drives me insane. i constantly question everything they say.
