do you curse when you stub your toe?

hi guys. i just stubbed my toe in a chair and it really really hurt!!! however, i have to congratulate myself because i didnt swear or curse. you know why? its because i cannot actually curse because my father was within earshot and i was sure to be scolded if ever i had cursed that time! lolz.
what about you? do you curse or swear when you stub your toe?

I do not curse or say a bad thing to the poor inmate things; they are actually not to be blamed. We have to blame ourselves for having been rash in our action or for not being careful enough.
When such a thing happens to me, I feel very silly that I was careless and I determine to be much more careful in future. I hope you get my point.

I fully understand what you were trying to convey. There is no question of anyone getting offended-we are only discussing the matter. My point is that we should also look inward and think if we can improve on our own actions. We learn from our experiences. By commiting mistakes and learning from them. Thank you for your post and discussions.

ooh. :) okay. well, thank you so much for understanding. lolz. :) and i am really trying to decrease my cursing lately. haha. :) i have realized that its really not that bad to avoid cursing. :)

well good for you. :) i do get your point. i am sorry if it seems a bit offensive when i say that i curse when i stubbed my toe but just to get the point of my discussion across, i am proud to say that i didnt curse when i stubbed my toe. i was able to have some self-control and discipline. lolz. :)

I try not to curse too much as I have a 10 year old daughter, but sometimes when something hurts me and I'm surprised by it, I can't help but to curse! Congratulations to you for holding your tongue while your father was around! I'm sure that took some real selfcontrol! lol :)

yah, it really took a lot of self control, i tell you. i was already bitng my tongue just so i could hold back the curses. but in my mind, a lot of curses were already present. lolz. it really hurt a lot! and i ended just shrieking. lolz. :P
my dad asked me what happened and i am proud to say that i managed telling him what happened in a calm and curse-free sentence. lol. :)

hello there. :) well, good for you that you dont curse.swear. you know, it really takes a lot of self control to handle a feat like that. i consider that to be a skill because you know, i really find a hard time avoiding cursing or swearing. lolz. :)

no , i never curse when i stub my toe, i recently stubbed my toe (about a week back) and it nurted me much and the pain was there for 4-5 days, but i didn't curse because what would i get if i curse, the answer is nothing.

yeah, i agree with you. we do get nothing when we curse but there is this some kind of expression of our pain when i curse. :P lolz. its like i get to have an outlet of all the pain that i felt when i stubbed my toe. lolz. :P
