I always lived with really bad alleries. Watery eyes, Runny nose, hives, irritation, pounding head pains. Let me know!!!! Has Any one noticed with the wacky weathers we've been having allergies seeming to get worse. I can sleep with irritating feeling.

Believe me I know. Thankfully I still have Astelin until I can get in to see my doctor. It has been wonderful for my allergies. I was lucky enough the doctor gave me a good supply of samples. I don't know what I'd do without it. Even with it some days the allergies are kicking up but nothing like they would without it. The crazy weather really makes it hard on anyone with allergies.

Well I was put in the hospital over a month ago for bronchitis, part of which was caused due to the allergies. While I was in there I talked with the doctor about how the Post Nasal Drip was miserable for me and especially at night how it clogs my lungs. He put me on the medication there and when I was released gave me a script for it but I don't have insurance or much money so they were nice enough to get me a sample. So between the hospital bottle (they gave it to me because its a nose spray and can't be used with someone else) and what he gave me it's lasted a while.

Thanks for the reply. You are very lucky to have your doctor supply with allergy medication. I have never had a doctor do something so nice for me. It is true with global warning and the weather things are getting real bad Smog and dust and construction doesn't make it any easier. But Did you visit your doctor explaining your allergy experience or did they just provided it for you??

You might want to consider buying an air purifier for your bedroom or living room. Not an expensive system that requires installing and costs thousands of dollars, but just a little stand like appliance that blends in and quietly purifies the air from toxins and pollen. My sister has one in her living room and they like it so much she and her husband started sleeping in there! That got old, so they bought one for their bedroom. I'm planning on getting one because my apartment neighbor smokes right outside my door, and when I open the door to leave, it comes into my apartment and seems to settle. I hate the smell. It's not good for me or my puppies.

I don't know what I'd do without an air conditioner. If only I could get my neighbors to smoke at the front of the buildings at least, so it wouldn't waft into our doors and soak our carpet with the smoke smell.

That's a great point. I hadn't thought about the weather playing a role in my allergies. I thought they were worse because of relocating and every year here they're still worse. Thanks for making me think of other possibilities!
