First of all getting active referrals is not easy as very knows here on mylot and even if you get a working referral for you there is a good chance that your referral may lose interest in the whole process may be because of lack of knowledge or because of confusion. So I think what we can do from our end is that we should contact them on regular basis and we must try to increase their morale and also we must share our experiences with them so that they can undertsand mylot very quickly. Also we can boost their morale by marking their responses as best response and also try to go through their discussions and try to answer them as I have found out that you can solve most of their problems just my answering their discussions because if for example they are confuse they always create discussions asking questions to other mylotians and so here is our chance to answer them in a good way. Do you have any other tips kindly share it with me so that we all can benefit.

First of all you wont know who is your referal unless you have directly reffered him/her , treat every one equally he must be on your friend list so you will help him/her either directly or indirectly thats what i do.

Ofcourse I will know my referrals and I can also know which of my referrals are active and which one of them are not. Right now I am having 42 referrals but only few are active rest are inactive.

You are so right about it being hard to get referrals and then to keep them active is hard too. I only have 19 referrals but I found that if I email them tips and such on a regular basis, they tend to be more active. I think many times people forget to come back to mylot once they sign up. Also it can be difficult to know how to manuver the site. I encourage them to be careful of those that they comment on. I would hate for them to loose points when someones article is removed by mylot. That is happening quite frequently these days. I have several of my referrals that are doing quite well on mylot now.
