OPRAH for US President?

Judging from comments she and Gayle King have made about different candidates, I would think she would run as a democrat, but I would think hard about voting for her even if she ran as a republican (and that is HUGE for me). I just love her. I think she is wonderful. I always admired her, but more from a distance. I have gotten into watching her show, and occasionally reading her magazine, after her satellite radio channel started on XM radio. I like her more each day.

i'm not a native american but who wouldn't know oprah winfrey? i personally admire her for her generosity.. however, if she would run for presidency, is a different question. i don't know her educational background and i guess it depends on the number of units she earned in college relating to politics or public service.. enough knowledge in politics is still important..

True Oprah is extremely influential. She's a remarkable woman, 'tis true. Oprah would run as a DEMOCRAT, therefore, because of her liberal ideas, I would not vote for her.
