I wish I knew! I can read, I can work in my lovely garden, I can watch TV and zone out but nothing changes my stress levels. Why? Because I induce them myself. I am a stress bucket! Some of us are born drama queens and even admitting it doesn't change the level of stress and worry we suffer.

I either listen to some good rock and roll music or I watch a good action film.

Try to join some martial arts-related exercises.. it could help you out take ease your mind. You can also have golf course on your spare time. It could alter the burden into a simple hit.
And also, it is most likely to be open to your peers all your partakings in mind. YOu need to shout out your fears (if you have). Party at night or read a book? and just think of anything that could make yourself for a while or hover to a short-time goal game.

Stress is mind related. Instead of it controlling me, I learnt how to take control of it. Meditation helped immensely.

I think the best way of reducing stress is to do something you really like...or just gaze at the sky..watch the clouds go by...Everybody gets stressed at one point in their lives..so whenever i get stressed i just think that another person out there is a lot more stressed than me..or someone on the other side of the earth is looking at the sky too...

I never go anywhere without a small CD player and a pair of headphones in my purse. I major source of stress in my life is noise. I use the headphones and music to escape the noise around me. For me the world is like a sunny day to one who is light sensitive. I hear the way people typically see, and it's annoying as h3ll, most days!!!

You are right. Music also rule out stress. Thanks for responding. Just don't mind about them, be cool and just listen to what you like. Thanks for responding.

I got some ideas reading the other posts thanks for that. Here are some of the things I do to keep me stress free. I work for myself,I meditate, light my gourmet scented candles, focus on my breathing, do self massage. The two things I do though it make sure that at least 1 - 2 times through the day ( even if its in the bathroom) when I get a moment is to close my eyes listen to my breathing and count to 10 slowly in my mind and even though it's only 10 seconds I find the focused thought helps calm me and prepare me for the tasks ahead. The second thing is I try not to fuss, I enjoy every exprince in my life beceause it may only happen once and why not enjoy it. I also thank the universe at the end of the day. I also take whole grain, sammon oil and carotenoid complex supplements. I feel if mind, body and energy are connected then there is no room for stress.

Wow! that's a great idea on how to keep away stress. I do sometimes meditate when i find some time for myself to relax and eat good food. That's really a stress-free feeling. Thanks to them and thanks to you for sharing this.

Yes you are right. My mother and my brother are nurses. They told me that if i feel depressed or stressed i should have to eat to conquer it. Thanks a lot for responding.
