SMARTBRO: I have been out for a week!

I was not able to log-in with MyLot or in any other site from May 19, 2007 to May 27, 2007. I feel bad for what happened, I can't understand what's happening with my connectiion. I have called my ISP customer care hotline but they failed to bring it back. We have conducted troubleshooting for 4 days but still there's no progress. On the fifth day, they told me that they have reported my case on the concern department. After that day I still have to call them for the feedback, they advise me to call again after 24 hours because there's still no response in my case. At last on the seventh day, they have given me the schedule of when will I have my field visit.
On that day, we have discovered that my antenna was already defective. They have replaced it with a new one. Now, I have my connection working with me. I feel happy for it, I just feel sad for the slow response from my service provider. 7 days were long enough. It gives alot of inconvenience in my part.
How will you feel when you're in my situation? Did I forget to do or say something?

Yeah, I was out for about a week. Irritating but I can't do anything but to follow up on their customer care hotline. Those contractors of smartbro told me that my antenna was already defective and that they have to replace it for a new one. They did not mention anything why this happen. I was using those antenna since January 2007 and was declared defective this month of May.

Your antennae was defective or theirs?
Hope it's resolved already. I was thinking of getting a smartbro but I guess I'll pass for now.
Wanted to put another connection because my present connection isn't wireless. But it's with PLDT. And since we got around 3 pcs and 2 laptops at home. I was thinking that it's better to have a wireless so that I can work anywhere at home. But I guess the service isn't that good so I'll pass for now.

i am sorry to hear of the incovenience smartbro has caused you. i was a little bit disappointed by the delayed response of smartbro people in fixing your antenna. while it took them 7 days to resolve the problem, i hope this won't happen to us here in davao. i have been with smartbro for almost three months now. smartbro assured their subscribers that they will be there 24/7 for technical support and field visitations.
i am happy that your connection has been back to normal. i am sure you will find more time here in mylot in the coming days. i hope you have earned enough for the month of may and ready to be paid mylot anytime next month.

Unfortunately I was not able to reach my minimum payout for the month of May. I have been busy most of the time this past few weeks and have no connection for one week. Anyway, it's ok. The good thing is that it's working well as of the moment.
I will just have to work much for the month of June, lol!

I have a relative who uses smart too. I guess they're connection isn't working as well. Whew. I could sense the frustration. I use PLDT DSL and it works excellent for me. I
use it at home and in the office. It works great.
By the way, we're in Davao. So I guess it depends on which part of Davao you are. He wasn't able to use the net connection for a few weeks. Whew! He even took lengths to report but they only told him to 'wait and check' Whew!. They even went here at home to use our net connection because his daughters needed to research.
It's really frustrating, ain't it? But I hope it works fine sooner or later. I think that happens if the company is new to the type of service. I haven't heard of such a thing with PLDT and Bayantel and even Globelines.

our connection here in is SMARTBRO.Last week of April our line u here or area was always on and off. WE are all worried about it.It was the climate or the weather is the cause.It almost 3 weeks is always disconnected nakalulungkot kasi hindi tayo maka online..

i am also smartbro subscriber and i'm also not satisfied with the way they are attending my concern, i had same experience as you are and a lot of problems with smartbro. I also requested for rebate for those days that i wasnt able to connect and if you gonna copute the days it is almost a month of sacrifice and headache, but until now no rabates were made. If only I have an option to switch to DSL but I cant because i dont have a landline. Hope the smartbro will take action on this situations from their sunscribers.
