i think in the philippines it became quite a big deal. being in a private school is obviously better than being in a public school. but being in a public school is better than not going to school at all right? I think as long as the child studies hard, it doesn't matter what school they go into, just some exceptions cause some people are biased on public schools. The problem in public schools in the Philippines is their system. It wouldn't encourage middle class and high class people to study there right because of the safety issues and lack of equipment.
I personally went to an exclusive private school from kinder-4th year HS in the Philippines. After I graduate we moved to Canada. I had to take Grade 12 still. I took my grade 12 in a public school in canada. It's actually even better than private schools. We had free books(ofcorz we had to return them after).. We do have computer access.. School facilities are okei...It is because of the government..Some of my classmates back then even had cars...and i know some of them were really rich but thy can choose to study in a public
So as for the Philippines, if they can only do that to our public schools there, nobody will be biased on them.

Public schools can be dangerous, however I find that for my children it will be public. I learned several lessons that I've put to use in my life in public school, so I want my children to learn them as well. I feel regretable that my children could possibly go through some of the hardships and pain that I went through as a child, teen, and young-adult. I think that however it may make me sad to see them get hurt and be unhappy, it will make them stronger, greater, and happier in the long run. Learning some of the things I learned in public school made me the wonderful person I am today, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I want my children to be able to appreciate things the way I do, and realize that lifes not always a basket of flowers. Also I want them to be able to realize that however we'll be there to support them in anything they do, that we won't be there to save them everytime they mess up.
