If you're able to find a HYIP with returns of around 2-3% , good rating, running/paying for more than a year and backed by a market like forex you should be able to get a good return on your investment, but always invest in different commodities or atleast companies. never a big amount of money in one area.
if you spread your investments out it's a lot safer. and take into account that a HYIP's payout over a year is aprox 180% vs a bank at 6%. big risks = big money.

I'm not trying to tell you what to do but have you read the posts? Have you read about HYIP's on this site?
If you are so intent on parting with your money, why don't you just take it out of your pocket and drop it into the trash?
Again, not trying to tell you what to do but at least do a little research before you do something. For the looks of it, you don't have a clear understand of such programs or even where to begin. Let me caution you, there are no get rich quick schemes.
Good-luck.
