Is the bollywood loosing the tune?

Many people say that the songs coming out in bollywood movies these days are not at all melodious. The old songs were very melodious. But I think these days also songs are melodious but as a lot more songs come out every year we cannot expect all songs to be good as it was in past when only few came out and they were good. So whats ur opinion about it.

yes,i thnk u r absolutely right,all the songs coming can not be melodious but not all r bad,there a plenty of melodious songs coming these days.

These days in bollywood some songs are melodious, but not all. Also, the Janta plays an important role here, because music directors are making songs that today's Janta likes. This is usually the younger generations, and most of the younger generations prefer fast songs that don't make sense. These days you will hear curse words in songs, rapping and things like that, and the most of the Janta loves to hear it.

I think it is not correct to say that these days Bollywood filmi songs don't have melody. It is just that songs with good melody and good music and nicebeat are not that many. But one can find lot of indi pop and foot tapping numbers these days item songs. to which one can dance to and have good time. Though i feel golden oldies will remain popular as they are very good.
