do you think that linux is overtaking windows now?????/

hello friends What do you make out of this..... dont you think that linux is getting into things much faster now. Windows may be widely accepted everywhere,boasts an enormous plethora of GUis, and has millions of software packages that run on it.But it his buggier,less secure, and sometimes feel cavernous. Linus is solid and smooth running , and feels more stream lined too many. But what technical users called stream -lined, novoices may interpret as spare, or sometimes barren or just plain - missin. There are also packages that are increasing day by day and many of which that are available (infact most of them) are for free. As time goes by and as the open source community develops more for linux, these differences will shrink. What do you pepole think of it friends?????
