Do you like ice cream sundaes?

This is the best part about summer being here...the ice cream trucks are everywhere! When my kids were small I used to hate hearing that bell but now that I'm an adult and alone I actually listen for it! lolol..
I love hot fudge sundaes with lots of whipped cream and that cherry on the top. Sometimes I'll even splurge and get nuts...if I'm in the mood. It has to be dairy whipped ice cream of course and only vanilla so I can enjoy the hot chocolate sauce.
If you love ice cream sundaes tell us about your favorite and make our mouths water. With whipped cream or marshmallow? Nuts or not?

Now you are making me crave ice cream again. LOL. I like soft served vanilla ice cream with some hot fudge syrup and nuts on top. I always have to have nuts on top. I also like soft serve ice cream with a strawberry syrup, fresh strawberries,nuts, and a drizzle of chocolate sauce. I guess I now know what we will be having for dessert. Thanks !!!

I notice I've been bad with food discussions lately and a lot of my friends are having cravings and blaming me...lolol...jk jk...but I do love my ice cream.

Hey, your making me hungry...I love sundaes. I like mine with vanilla ice cream with choclate and caramel toppings. Then add the whipped cream and a few cherries. Now I want to run to Dairy Queen.

I love a huge scoop of strawberry ice=cream.
Top it with a dab of hot chocolate then a bit
of butterscotch toppings. A dab of whipped
cream and no nuts. Hmmmmm.

Even though my favorite ice cream is strawberry my sundae has to be vanilla. Having just a "dab" of hot chocolate would never do for me....I have to have a river of it to make me happy.

Oh yummy!!!I love ice cream sundaes....especially a hot carmel with capucino chunky chocolate ice cream and yes it has to have all the toppings on it.I mean if I'm going to spoil my diet....I might as well do it right.
I do miss the Italian Ice cream you can get in Germany....it is so different from the ice cream here and the sundaes are just to die for.
My second favorite has to be strawberry shortcake with strawberry ice cream and whipped topping.....hmmm...I'm starting to think Braums for dinner now...lol.

Italian Ice Cream is made mostly with milk not cream and has a much more intense flavor than American Ice Cream.You would remember if you ever had it.Have you ever had a simple fruit sorbet....that's what they call Italian Ice and if you make it with milk....you get Italian Ice Cream.

I've had Italian Ice but am not crazy about it. All it is is crushed ice with flavoring as far as I'm concerned. I do love sorbet though.

I never tried Italian ice cream...I don't think, unless your talking about spumoni and I do love that. Strawberry shortcake is great too and now I'm getting a craving for that.

Oh, how I love the ice cream sundaes. I love them so very, very much. My favourite is probably strawberry ice cream and strawberry sorbet with chopped up banana and frozen strawberries. Whipped cream AND marshmallow with hot fudge sauce dribbled all over the top. Now I have a sweet craving! x

I love marshmallow on my sundae too. Unfortunately a lot of places don't offer it so I settle for the whipped cream. But it's just as good to me.

I actually just like plain strawberry ice cream. My fiancee will make me a dish of strawberry ice cream with sliced strawberries mixed in. I don't care much for sweets so this is a nice change when I am eating ice cream.
