I like fluff!

A while back, someone on here asked why there are so many "fluff" posts or posts that are so superficial and not on "important" topics. I guess I like to stay with the fluff posts because they don't incite arguments. They don't invite people to start name calling and they are easy to respond to. I can look at them, respond very quickly and move on to something else when I'm busy. It seems that every time I respond to an "important" subject, almost always started by a liberal, I end up getting called names. I'm foolish or stupid or uneducated or some kind of phobe if I don't agree with them. They don't really want a "discussion", they want an argument and they want to make you look stupid if you don't agree. So, I think I'll stick with the fluff!

If fluff is what you like then more power to you. I have never had anyone argue with me or call me names here on MyLot. But if it is happening to you and you feel like fluff is safe then stick with the fluff.

I have also seen the name-calling and argumentative types on here, although it does not happen all of the time. I like to contribute to both the serious and the fun types of discussions, and I see nothing wrong with either.
