I don't remember the last time I actually read a newspaper, but I do get the Garfield comits on line in my mailbox every day, and just today I got my Newsweek and mentioned to my mother how much I enjoy their political cartoons.

Newspaper comics are some of the tamest materials compared to what's on TV and in the movies. Actually, children can learn to read better if they read comics. It might eventually encourage them to read more books!
