FTP server

we all know that FTP is old fashion protocol that still used by almost all webhost in the world.
despite of its secure or not, what is your favorite FTP server on linux ?
if possible, tell me why ?
me myself, i choose proftpd. cause it's already bundled by slackware and easy to config.

I do not have an ftp server set as I don't need that for the time being. On the other hand, I use Gftp as a client. It comes with the mandrake distribution.

One of the most well known FTP clients and FTP servers for Windows and other platforms are FileZilla.
FileZilla is of course open source, and "belongs" to the "Mozilla" family of software tools - same as Firefox browsers.
Both packages are extremely easy to set up, and there is ample documentation, instructions, add-on and "skins" available online.
