So here I am trying to get a date with a lady. It's a blind date, and we haven't even talked on the phone yet. So I show up on time where we were supposed to meet, and she doesn't. It turns out she was... get this
"Suntanning for 10 minutes and got heat stroke"
Also, I have an earlyer post where I was going on a date with a younger lady. She promiced me a date, but when it came down to the date itself it was...
"Too wierd to go out with me"
Has anyone elce come across the stupid lame excuses?

i know some women give lame excuses just to avoid going out with the guy. i dont know whats up with them...i mean, if i dont want to go out with that guy, i would just tell him straight and not let him think that iam interested in him by saying "ok, lets go on a date" and then later on give some lame excuses to go off the hook. i know some people who always find some lame escuses...wish they will just grow up!

I would have alot more respect for people in general if they did the same. I don't care if people don't want to date or whatever, you don't need to come up with some lame excuse to get out of it.

sometimes most women do it not to hurt the other person.. let's not have double standards, guys do it to women a lot too.. have you ever had to be in a situation where you had to tell the truth that you're not interested in a guy? well, i have told the truth and it wasn't taken lightly by the guy.. he got mad and very immature.. so i wonder, who should be the one to grow up??

Well, i've had my share of giving lame excuses.. and i admit, the truth was actually simple; i didn't wanna go on with the date.. however, i've NEVER did it to stand a guy up! i'd date him first and if i don't feel like we have anything in common, that's when all the lame excuses come out.. =P

I see where you're coming from, but I have been and probably will be a very open person. I find it so much easyer and respectful to just say the truth. Sure it may hurt, sure there may be consiquences, but I personally am willing to deal with them.
