My daughter is approaching the age where this might be an issue for me. I'm not sure how I'm going to handle it. I don't think I will be allowing her to go to parties with alchohol. I'm hoping it isn't much of an issue for her. She will be attending a private school next year. She has been in public school up until now. I'm hoping that the families in this school don't have those parties as much as the families in public schools would.
How would I prevent it? I guess, I try to know where my child is at all times. If she's at the age where she is going out with adult supervision. Of course, I can't see what shes doing all the time, but if I were to find out that she was somewhere that she wasn't supposed to be, she would lose her privileges and not be allowed to go out for a long time.

Im glad you already have a back up plan I think this is very important with teenages to know how you would handle a situation and already have the consequences. I am at the moment trying to find out what I should do. So far havent had any problems but have my back up plan ready to go.lol
