Anyone who saw Pirates 3 will know why I hate Will Turners dad! I don't want to say why because it'll ruin it for people who have not seen it...but...who helped Elizabeth and her crew escape? If you saw it you know, and you also know what happens! Thats why I hate Wills dad....

SPOILERS: Are you really asking who helped them escape? If so, it was Norrington. As for Bootstrap, he had become part of the ship and was incapable of his own thoughts. He also did not remember Elizabath, and would have therefore seen no reason to allow her to leave the Dutchman. Think back to when Elizabeth was in the brigg, and met Bootstrap.

No, I wasn't asking :) Hehe, I knew who helped them escape. I just didn't want to give it away unless someone who didn't see the movie read this :) I know he was uncapable, but I still hate him lol. I

I didn't much like it either, but I think that since the ending opened it up for another sequel (so what, it would be a quadrology?), they wanted to be able to give Orlando Bloom and Kiera Knightly the possibility of not being in the next movie. Also, I think that Will was right about one thing that he said, "Depends on the day." If you've seen it, you should understand that, and if you haven't, that shouldn't give too much away. :)

it was very disappointing. i love the first movie the most. the second was good but started to get a little dark with the story line. the third was drawn out and the end was bad. wish it ended differently. will's dad was mean for what he did. i would have let him rot on that ship and not gone back to save him.

Yeah I agree with you. The first is still my favorite. The second is my least favorite. I thought the third was the funniest...but def. not the best. My sister didn't like the ending of the 3rd either...it didn't really bother me that much. But there is one part in it I HATED! lol.

I honestly thought it was a way to keep Will in the story. The story seemed to get away from him in the second and especially in the third, but I believe they wanted to keep Will (Orlando Bloom) involved, so they needed both him and his father. If you look, the "main" story was the pirates v. the East India Trading Co. and Will/his father we're kept out. The only way to keep them in was to have scenes like the one you are talking about. I agree, but only because it seemed unnecessary to me. Oh well...
