Do you like sugar in your tea or do you prefer no sugar? I prefer my tea to be sweet!

I do not like to add sugar to any of my drinks. If I am having tea or coffee, I would have it as it is. To me sugar would change the taste of coffee and tea and therefore, I prefer not to have them added. However, if sugar has already been added to them, I would still drink them since it is not that I cannot take sugar.

wow, shakeroo, that is something. it is good that you have come to like your drinks without any sugar. for me, that would be such a sacrifice! and to think that there is no need for you to do that at all.

I need sugar a little more than the normal. I love it to be sweet. Toffees are my favorite.

I feel that sugar spoils tea. Try tea with milk but without sugar. The real taste of tea can enjoyed only if you take it without sugar .

I have to have sugar in my tea! I am drinking a glass of sweet iced tea right now and it is delicious!! I don't think that tea without sugar tastes right. I don't like it to be really sweet, but I do like sweet tea.

I'm a diabetic, so I've learned to drink my iced tea and coffee without any sugar. However, when I drink hot tea, I just have to add some Splenda (unless it's an herbal tea, then no sugar at all).

I used to put suger and cream in my coffee and tea. But I don't anymore. I never thought I could get used to it black or plain. But I have and it tastes fine. I would never use the artificial "chemical" sweetners. I seldom put suger on anything.

I like my tea sweet, but I want a no-cal sweetner, preferably the blue or the yellow stuff.

Well I have a low blood sugar problem --for some reason people think you need more sugar to regulate the blood sugar..nope....for sometime now I haven't added any sugar to either my tea or coffee and I've gotten used to it, so now even if I did add sugar it would taste weird to me....my mom on the other hand--yikes... when she was alive I used to watch in fascination...I don't know how many teaspoons she'd add, but it'd be a mountain of sugar...it took her about a half hour of stirring it to have it dissolve completely

Sweet tea for sure. My family go through it like it was water. I don't drink it often because of the cafine as I am on a medication that has caffine in it or the effects of it and it makes my pulse rate high but ever so often I will get a drink of it or a glass of it. Down here in south Texas it is sweet iced tea year round. Delicious!!!!!

whatever may it be that i take, be it milk, coffee or tea, i allways put some sugar into it. just like you, i want those hot drinks sweet. as for those cold drinks, i want them even much sweeter. if others are afraid of sugar due to complications that might arise from its use, for me, it will be just a matter of exercising so as to get rid of those unwanted things from my system.

I drink green and herbal teas. I usually don't need sugar, and don't add it because it's only extra and empty calories I don't need. However, I did drink black tea when I was in Ireland, and I had to put sugar in it, or I didn't like the taste!

I prefer sweet tea as well, its just better. I use splenda and regular sugar, half a cup of each. Its really nice, and tasty. I have a grandmother that drinks unsweetened tea, and i don't like it. I think that it makes the tea taste bland and boring, its just not satisfying. Something I really like to do is add a little dash of cinnamon and a slice of apple, it adds some kick to a hot cup of tea.

I love sweet tea. When I go out to restaurants and order sweet tea, a lot of the time it is fine as is, but sometime it is not sweet enough for me and I'll have to had a packet of sugar. I hate tasteless tea, and usually I don't like hot tea (sometimes it can be good though, but rarely). I love sweet, ice tea. :)
