Do you like to eat leftovers or just keep them for a while and then throw it?

i am one of the type of person that when I cook something delicious and there´s leftover I put it iin the fridge for some days I forget it and then when I try to eat it days have passed and it loses its appeal as when it was just cooked and finally I throw it away, this happens almost all the time, do you really eat your leftovers?

There are certain foods that i keep and they acually get ate, like meatloaf, potatoes, chili, soups, and salads, but there is also alot of stuff that just gets put in there with the hopes that someone will get into it and eat it and it gets thrown out eventualy. I have to clean the fridge out at least every other week to make sure something didnt get shoved to the back and is getting yucky back there.

I don't eat leftovers. But my husband takes them to work the next day, he'll eat anything cold, I can layer the salad, entree, side and dessert in there and he's stoked. I could stack some sauerkraut on top of chinese food and he'd eat it.

well, he won't go near lima beans or liver, and since I don't like them either, we haven't had any fights over those to items ;)

I often cook in order to create leftovers, enough for at least another meal. This is a great way to save time and energy.
If you forget about them. Put a sticky on your refrigerator or plan a day to use them and write it on your calendar so you don't forget.
A small amount can also make a great lunch.

I never throw leftovers away. If we don't eat them within a couple of days they all go into a hobo stew if appropriate or I'll mix them in with something else I've cooked. I feel terribly guilty if I have to throw food away.. to many hungry people in the world :D.

Till I was unmarried and my mom was cooking I would never ever eat leftovers and wouldn't hesitate a bit to throw them away, but now its different. I keep leftovers for a day at least and try and finish them off, beyond that, i just throw it away feeling guilty that so many people in this world don't have a morsel to eat and I am wasting food. Most of the times however, I try and make just enough quantities and not cook too much.

We actually do eat the leftovers that are placed in the refrigerator most of the time. My fiancee will try to use the leftovers for the childrens lunch the next day or two. If the leftovers don't all get used up then she will feed it to our dogs. No food really goes to waste in our home. There was a time that leftovers did get thrown away till she got sick of how wasteful this was.

Hi there, I dont mind eating left overs as long as they have been properly sealed and stored and that these leftovers are from the night before, not 2 nights before lol, anything after that for me is classed as food poisoning, this food goes to our dog who will eat anything and everything. Anyway in our house we try not too waste food...

I love eating leftovers.. I find that some food tastes better when kept overnight. The next day I might just heat it up for breakfast or lunch and it taste better than how it was prepared. I think that you can't leave food for too long though, unless you freeze it. Then it'll just taste bad and might as well just throw it out.. So yeah..I eat my leftovers.. =)
