A knock at the door?

Leave it the way it is. The metaphor or point to this would be to live your life in a way that if he was to knock on the door you were already prepared. For one he already knows you. He knows what you do and how and why. He watches over us. And two, there are so many for him to visit, will he wait for you to clean, or will you miss the prcious opportunity? I would rather leave the mess and face him and get those precious moments, than to attempt to to show face and lose that moment.
