I just clicked by mistake and marked an unintended response as the best one. :( Argh.. has this happened to anyone else? Or is there any way to rectify this? I've been looking but I don't see an option.. or do I need 500 posts for this and will just have to wait it out? I can't believe I just did this.

I thought I read someplace a while back that you could change who you gave the BR too, but since you don't see anything that would enable you to do so, well I guess there is nothing you can do about it.
It was a mistake and they happen. Look at it this way, the person who recieved the BR won't benefit from it anymore than the original person would have. Therefore, it is not as if you should even give it a second thought. If you wanted to mark your friend BR, just send a message and tell him/her what happened.

Apparently you can't, I've searched and searched. Ah well.. you're right, nothing I can do about it now. The BR wasn't going to a friend or anything, I'm sure the person doesn't even know but I just had a certain respond in mind and didn't want to dupe him/her out. But ah.. live and learn. Thanks the reply!

As far as I knwow it can't be changed but I wouldn't worry too much about it. If it is bothering you that much though you could try admin but I think you should just put this down to experience, you will have made someone happy even if it is the wrong someone.

Yeah it's no biggie. Maybe I'm really picky since I read some discussions this morning of people who mark BR to responses that are not all that and I don't want to be one of those myLotters! Haha! But ah.. what can we do. Thanks for the reply! =)

Wella syou have figured out there is not much you can do about this now and hopefully in fiture you'll make sure it doesn't happen again.
If it's any consilation in a few weeks the discussion might come back to you unmarked for whatever reason. I don't know why this happens and must confess I don't even believe if it does happen that often cos it hasn't happened to myself.
Glad to see though that you do resolve them but maybe you should take a while longer to decide. I would have liked to have a chance too!¬

Ahh.. you got me! I keep bumping into discussions where people suggest waiting some time so I think I'm going to start waiting at least 2 or 3 days before marking the BR. What can I say, I'm impatient and forgetful. You'll have to settle for a + instead!
