Why do People Buy Fake Products?

I think people buy fake goods for many reasons. One is that they are very cheap and come in different colors, sizes and styles. Also if the style is outdated, they could easily replace them with the new collections. It is also a status symbol because many people mistakes the them as the real thing. Quality of the fake ones may not be comparable to the genuine ones. Nevertheless, the fake goods last long enough to be good alternative to the designer goods.

Maybe people just buy these fake products because they don't care if they're real but the quality within them. Or maybe they just bought them because it's all they can afford. All namebrands are expensive. Or they could just buy these fake branded goods because they don't know that they're fake. You never know if it's fake or not if you look at the cover. But if you actually try it, then it can be real or fake to you.
