yes, i would. i believe everyone deserves a second chance. and for those who had been in jail, a job could actually regain their self-worth and dignity.

It depends on the situations, & what kinds of jobs he was looking for. It depends on the nature of the crimes committed, & how large or small of a criminal record. There are times that someone might get convicted of a crime despite being innocent, for various reasons.
In quite a few circumstances, people do deserve a second chance, especially if they were actually trying to make their own lives better honestly.. It is usually better for someone who has paid his debt to society by being imprisoned to be able to make an honest living as opposed to committing another crime out of desperation. Also, if they are working, it would keep them out of trouble.

It depends what the person did. If it was something violent, then the answer would be no.

Yes I have given work to someone who was incarcerated in the past in a state prison. Of course this man did his crime, served his time and learned his lesson!
As for hiring others who have been incarcerated ~ it depends on what I was hiring them for and what crime they committed. If I was running a daycare I would not ( and could not) hire a child offender.
There are alot of repeat offenders out there that get out of jail/prison and step right back into the slide of their criminal activity BUT there are a few that have learned their lesson and will never end up back inside....those are the people that deserve a chance!
