I believe this very firmly because in most cases if you quit you find it hard or impossible to start again. Tell me what you think of this saying. Do you think it is try or not true and tell me why you think as you do? “Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.” Lance Armstrong

It means that when hardships or obstacles come in your way, you should never give up. Because it is better to endure pain than not knowing how it feels to be victorious.

Yes, he is quite the guy. I think it would be neat to live where he lived. It would be a honor. Thanks for responding. It was appreciated.

I think it is true. If you are in a race and you experience pain it is temporary, eventually the pain will go away so you must keep going. If you quit the race then it is over and you can not go back at a later time and finish, it is gone forever.

What Lance Armstrong is trying to say here is that one should never give up even if faced by impossible trials in life. Because it is better to endure pain than not know what it feels like to succeed and win.
