What you wanted to be when you grew up.

If you are already in the middle of your life as I am you sometimes think back on the dreams you had when you were a youngster.
I have had many kids and am in my second Marriage now. I wanted to be a Doctor when I was a kid, but couldn't stand to see blood. That ends that. My second choice was to become a Translator and I wanted to get my Doctor in Languages. Well, money ruined that one.
As I become older I settled on the dream I have held dear to my heart since I was 18 Years old now. I want to be a full time freelance writer/ Author and Artisan. Now since I only have one more child to finish raise, I have started to work on making my dream a reality. It is no easy going that is for certain and with still working a full time job and taking care of my houshold, I don't find much time to write. My artwork is BDSM and fantasy. But it is hard to make money with Artwork.
Now may Question. What was your dream or is your dream? What would you like to be when you grow up?

I for some reason as long as i could remember wanted to grow up and be a mother and a wife i know that doesnt seem right. But that was what i wanted and that is what i am but now that i am here and i love my kids and hubby i do i want something more something that i can say is a big acheivement. I have financial problems so going to any kind of school is out right now and my kids are still 6 and under so it would be really tough todo anything. But i am thinking of a future dream that i can make come true after the children are set on their way, i havent decided yet what it is that i want to do or be but i know it is something more then i am right now. Good Luck to you. It gives me hope to hear that you can still persue your dreams even later on in life.

Well maybe you had to find your place as mother and wife first, you have no idea how many possibilities that actually opens up for you. Do you realize just how many hats you have to wear? Yes you can do it later on in life and you will already have achieved something great. You will have protected, raised and loved another human being that is special just like you.
Thank you for the good wishes.

My Master produces our BDSM Movies and just from watching him filming, editing etc I know it is hard work and frustrating at times. But when it is done and looks good it gives you a big boost of confidence. Don't ever let your dreams fall flat hun. And make sure you find the right lifepartner. They can make and break a dream for you as well. I know from experience.

Honestly, I wanted to be a horse.
I was quite young, so I didn't have much of a concept that people can't turn into horses (they could in movies!), and after that I wanted to be a writer.
I still enjoy writing, but now my dream is to hone the art of others.. I'd like to be a copy editor.

i dreamt of a lot of things when i was younger. i wanted to be a doctor, a lawyer, i want to be a great dancer, i wanted to be really good in one sport. i did try somethings out if they could work for me. way back when in still in school, i've joined dance groups and presentations, i played during intramurals and sportsfest. i wasnt a great player in some games but also excel in some. i didnt make it to be a doctor but i took up a college course that could be my stepping stone in taking up my post graduate studies - law. but because of financial problems and also relationship problems, i had to put my post graduate on a temporary stop. i had a baby boy, and going through a tough part in my life, i have more inspiration and conviction in attaining what i for. i want to be really good for my son's future.

That is very true. My remaining Daughter watches me write daily and she is my support system. Her dream is to become a judge. She wants to go to Harvard Law School. Here she is only 16 Years old and will graduate Highschool one year early this coming school year. We both believe in each other and neither will let the other give up. In many ways by me going for my dream, it makes her believe she can do it. I keep telling her, that nothing is unattainable as long as you watch what you are doing, stay away from the stupid stuff, get your priorities straight *which for her means right now no boys* and are willing to work hard for what you want. I have high respect for you to take your job as a Daddy so serious.
