What If You Ran Out Of Words While Praying?

This is my usual problem. I always wanted to pray because I have so many things to say. But when I start to pray, I always ran out of words... in these cases, what do you do to continue praying??

Perhaps, when you run out of words, it's a cue to listen...or to practice trust. You don't need to say words to be heard by God-He hears your heart. I think the words are more for our benefit than His. Sometimes, I just sit or lie quietly. Then, thoughts of people will come to me-or images of people. Sometimes, there's nothing at all. Sometimes, running out of words can be a good thing.

but it is written in the Holy Bible to "ask you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you".. but in most cases, I wanted to ask, but don't know how to start that's why i ran out of words...
i'm just confused..

Jesus also said that He knows what we have need of before we ask. I was in a situation once in which I couldn't find words to pray-all I could do was cry. He answered anyway-so, He must have heard my heart and read my need in my tears. Prayer is a point of connection with God, just like when you're talking to a friend or loved one. There's a book titled "God Calling" by A.J. Russell...it may help to clear up some of your confusion. It changed my life in many ways.

For me I do not think a person will ran out of words to say when you are sincerely praying. Just to give you an idea, when you pray it should not be as formal as how you think it should be. See to it that you are just chatting with a friend but you are talking to God. Build that relationship with Him, wherein even when you are just walking outside or doing nothing you are just talking to him your every thought or idea. He does not need any formal words or sentences, he just wants the most sincere things that comes to your mind and heart at that very minute.

Well, I think it is normal to ran out of words to say to God. for me, i think i even often repeat the things i say to God.
Like talking to our father, our friends, husband, etc.. sometimes there is a silence in the middle of the conversation. We are having to think of the things we are to say first right? I mean, it should be normal.

That sometimes happens to me too... when it happens i usually give thanks right away and stop. after a minute i talk of all the things i want to say then I'll end it with thats for you God or just talk casually with him it much more better because u can express whatever you want to. like a chat with a friend but its God your talking to. =)

you wont ran out of words, say what it is in your heart, say what you feel, if you feel you ran out of words, tell God you ran out of words.
continue praying, thank God for the blessings in your life, enumerate all blessings you wont ran out of things to thank about.

when i ran out of words, i keep quiet. i listen and let my heart do the talking. there are more words that the heart can express when the mouth ran out of it.
when we pray, we don't have to talk all the time. we also have to have quiet times because that is the time that God does the talking. let us open our ears and our hearts because he might say something there.
