where did linkin park get its name?

The group was formed in 1996 under the name Xero; the name later was changed to from Hybrid Theory, the band changed their name to Linkin Park, a play on and homage to Santa Monica’s Lincoln Park. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linkin_Park for a bio,message boards, photos etc, see this site: http://www.vh1.com/artists/az/linkin_park/bio.jhtml

god, I never thought or tried to imagine as if he originated the name of the band. Exactly that I looked for to know the origin of the name would not have idea for where I would go start. Excellent CynderInMySoul comment, thus the fans are knowing of plus an information on the band.

Actually this name means nothing.. its just a word made by the lead vocalist of the band Chester Bannington.It was created on Lincoln Park......watch the Frat Party @ The Pancake Festival DVD you'll get a clear idea
