What you like to do most during summer vacations?

I don't like the summer heat but I love holidays ,lol.When in school I was inseparable from my friends during the holidays and yes we used to participate in science projects and summer camps.We got to learn from some top scientists there.Though the experiments were simple ,but exceptionally entertaining.As for recreation, I travelled with my family every vacation and later with my friends.I also spent a lot of time at my granny's place and loved listening to her stories.

Well i do not really have a summer vacation, since i am learning and working also in the summer time. Btu when i used to have one, i usually went to different countries to a vacation. Or spend most of the day at the beach with my friends.

I like having the freedom to do as I please, and not be tied by deadlines and other pressures. I like being able to get up when I want and go to bed when I want. I like the fact that the summer belongs to me, and not to someone else. My summer is my time.

Hello,worthy, i am not a students and i do not have any children but i like the weekend time in the summer when i do not need to work.I love sunlight,when i feel the warmth of the sunlight,i will feel energetic. I like to go to the beaches to have sunbathing and do some outdoor activities.Sometimes i will have barbecue parties with my friends at the backyard. When i was a student,i also did the same thing as i do now,not much difference at all.:P

When I was in school, I used to do all things in the summer vacation that I couldn't do for the rest of the year. Like, I wasn't allowed to eat ice-cream when school was on because it caused my tonsils to swell up and I had to miss school for 2-3 days, so I hate plenty of ice cream and cold things in summer vacation. Then I went swimming daily and played with friends till late night. When I grew up, i.e. went in higher secondary school I used to use up the time in learning things like typing, computers etc. And these days I don't like summer! I can do more things enthusiastically in winter.

When my kids were small, we used to go camping in some beautiful places, where there were also interesting and fun things to see or do nearby. We camped out in Niagra Falls, Virginia Beach, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio. We usually visited the usual tourist attractions nearby, but the most fun we had was at the camp, cooking out and going on hikes. Now that the kids are grown up, we still get together for camping trips.

I'm no longer a student, and I don't have any kids, so I don't have any summer break to speak of. When I was a college student, I got internships in the summer. They paid well, and I learned a lot about my industry, it also gave me solid working experience to put on my resume, which helped me get a great job when I graduated. For now, in the summer, my husband and I might take weekends to go camping and hiking with the dogs, but mostly, we will be getting our farm ready this summer. We got married in August, so sometimes we take a vacation around the same time to celebrate, but I think this summer we will be staying home to build a greenhouse and seed our pasture.

Worthy, How are YOU? Usually we will go out for outing during summer vacations to break the monotony of life....but sometimes we are not able to make it, due to one reason or another. In that case, we go out during October holidays...to visit a place and for a making a change from our routine life. deepak

I like to travel a lot, and sea side attracts me. I would love to spend my summer vacation in the seaside. But this year I am not going on any vacation. I have just returned from a short 10 days trip from my maternal uncle's house. The next time I will go for a vacation will be on 2008, and not before that.

During the summer break from School, myself and my children like to get out as often as possible, whether it be just to the park, or whether it be along with my partner on a trip to somewhere we haven't been before, especially when the weather is good. We do try to keep away from the tourist spots if possible though, those places do tend to get a little chaotic. We visited the Zoo last weekend, and it was pretty good. There weren't too many people there which surprised me for a weekend, but I'm certain that with the weather picking up, there's going to be many more people there. Getting out and about and enjoying the warm weather and the time together is the order of the day for me and my children during their school holidays.

Alas I am not in age to get tyhem now. But when i was young I used to read a lot of cimics and watch TV the rest of the time. I also devoted an hour or two of mine for learning some stuff like painting, etc.

Iam waitting for summer vacation,my kids also long holiday ,then I got some rest in life.I can sleep long time because their is no school no hury for to ready children for school.At this time I like to go to some trip spot with my children,Iam playing with them.Some deffrents things to eat.

In summer..I preffer goin for vacation...n also would like to go hav ice creams:)..n play outdoor games...my list goes on on n on...

when i was still a student especially when i was in college, during my summer vacation, i take my internships. i took a bachelor of science in pharmacy course and we are supposed to have our apprenticeship courses during the summer breaks, also during our semetral and christmas breaks. but i did not regret though. after i finished my apprenticeships and i still have some more days left before getting back to school, i spend time with my family... atleast go to a beach and have fun for a day or two or just stay at home with my parents and siblings and watch movies and play games together.

Over the summer when my husband gets out of work we take th kids to the park or the local beach. Nothing fancy. If we could afford a real vacation we would.

My son is not school aged yet but already I feel there is a difference in how we spend our time for the summer. We do a lot of activities together (like a music class) that takes a break for the summer. But then some of our other activities (like playdates) become more frequent during the summer. I think when he becomes school-aged I will do a combination of the things you mention. We will visit somewhere interesting that we plan for and get excited about and then have fun and learn new stuff while we are there. I will also look into summer camps for him, something either sport or hobby related to give him some additional exposure to things he enjoys. Plus I will help him participate in things for continued learning during the summer, like readers club at the local library and maybe art classes or something like that. I remember being very bored during summers when I was growing up. I don't want him to ever feel bored but I do want him to enjoy the slower pace of things. I guess it is a delicate balance that parents have to somehow find.

During summer vacation, i really like to do lots of things like playing badminton and go shopping...and also i like to make crostitch at least at the end of the summer i have a remembrance.

during vacation, we usually go to our favy resort in batangas, visit other tourist spot and looking for the best souvenir items! shopping during summer is fun filled..but a new sets of bikinis, tanning lotions, and evrythong which is useful during summer..vacation is always great! right time to do the super unwind thing! haha!
