I believe personal letters would be best for greetings, because nothing beats a note with a personal touch. Nevertheless, a text message would still be greatly appreciated - it's the thought that counts anyway, especially when I know that that person who gave me greetings is a busy individual.

That will depend i guess. When you're going to send it thru personal letter, it actually takes time before it arrives to your recepient but it's all worth it because it has personal touches from the sender. Through text? I guess the person you will send this message will understand too. At least, you've remembered right?. ^_*

Nowadays with the modern technology I would prefer using a test message to send a personal letter. However it depends on the occasion too. If it is a birthday I would prefer sending the person a birthday card. It would have a more personal touch with my own handwriting on the card. If I just want to send something ordinary but personal I will still choose text messages because it is cheap, practical, easy to use and quick delivery.

It depends but txt were faster and you could get a reply ASAP. I usually send txt messages to important people and I think it is more faster than sending personal letter.

i think the best way to send greetings is through a personal letter but when we talk about convineience and economical saving, it would be better to just send a message through email or text. :) lolz. :)

the most efficent way,i think,is through text messages:)sending a letter takes so much time.however, the feeling of waiting for a letter is soooo wonderful.you can never what is in the envelope this time.the joy of receiving a letter from your family, your best friends would be great!

if by greetings you mean "hi, how are you doing?" type then i would say a text message is fine. but for like birthday or holiday greetings you should always send a card or personal letter thru snail mail. that way you show that you care enough to take the time out of your day to send them a heartfelt message of love. with a text message, its very impersonal..and i would think that the person sending a birthday or holiday greeting by text was just killing time at lunch or while on the bus or something..i would be rather upset if thats the greeting i got.

i like to send personal letters more if the person is one of my closest friend. i like it personalized and beautiful especially made for that important person. i really try my best to give something that they can appreciate. but there are times when i don't finished my letters on time so i have to send them text messages first then the personal letter on a latter day.

for me its more romantic to send greeting thru personal letter.Because the person can really feel when they read it and you can keep it to be remembrance from them.SEnding message is the fastest way the greet someone but its not romantic for me.
