June is about to come and classes are about to start again here in the Philippines. This semester, I am set to attend senior classes in college.
I could just recall those days when I really hated first days of classes. I really enjoy vacations so going to class seems so awful for me. I also dont like introducing myself in front of the class before because I have a very low self confidence.
How about you?
What do you feel about first days of classes?
I'd be very glad if you could share a story..

well, like you...I hate introducing myself in front of the class...especially when you have to do it in all of your subjects! its sickening..lol.
Back in my 1st year college, I was really excited and nervous at the same time, cause its a new school and stuff like that. But now that I'm almost graduating..hehe..its no biggy...cause, most of my batchmates are really close to me now. So its really fun to go to school. hehe

I have always regarded the first day of classes with anticipation and excitement. I was always excited to see new faces and know how my old classmates and friends were doing during summer. It was a lot of fun for me actually. I don't also mind speaking and introducing myself, I could even say that I bask in it.

The first day of classes is always a very nervous experience for me as you do not know who your classmates are and what kind of teacher you will have teaching the class. You really do not know what to expect on the first day of class and want it to go smoothly. Usually the first week is tough on me but after I know what to expect, I am okay. Good luck with your classes and hope this semester goes very well and you do great. You will be fine. Do you have any friends in your classes?

the first days of classes are always so exciting. it seems like i will still be exploring as to what will the new school year has to offer in terms of furhtering my knowledge on things. will i have good teachers or the boring ones are here again? then, i will surely be hoping that the new school year will be more rewarding. congratulations for making it to the final college year. this is the most challenging college year level for everyone. the time when one requirement comes after another. the time when a student keeps busy neckdeep.

I haven't been to school in many, many years. But I always hated the first day of classes too. When you just finished a couple of weeks of nice, relaxing days of vacation. But good luck with your classes. We didn't need to introduce ourselves in college, and I'm glad.

You realize those wonderful days only after you start working. You would prefer to go to school after vacations, than just work all the time. Basically, we always want to move to the next stage in life and only after moving there, we realize the beauty of the one we have just finished. I used to feel bored to go to school after vacations, but, after starting work, I prefer going to school now;)

Me too I have a very low self steem but I always like first day of classes. Not because of the class itself but because you get to see your old friends again plus you get to meet more new friends. And since it's only the first day of class everything is not serious yet. Classes could be cut short and there's no serious homework or study topics yet. Well this means you get to go out with your friends old and new alike.

my first day of school after vacations used to be an exciting day. and the day before the school reopening i used to feel anticipation and i used to get a little tickly feeling. it wasnt entirely comfortable, but the thought of meeting new friends and getting a new environment used to cover up for all bad feelings.

In life, we experience a lot introductions and goodbyes. Anxiety over meeting new people is at times needed in order to gain self confidence. Since you are a senior college Filipino student, then, you might as well try the best you can to overcome your fears.
Students are not the only ones who are anxious about first day highs; even educators do too. I have my share of experiences in the past years. What do I usually do? Well, I program myself and set my mind that hey! Vacation is over! Get up and seize the day! Carpe diem! What a great day to begin with prayer and positive thoughts! Allow yourself to learn from others and your experiences as well. Forgive yourself for making mistakes in the past. Who does not commit one anyway? Choose to become better today! Touch people's lives. Broaden your horizons. You got a bright future ahead of you!
Have a great first day next week! God bless!

my first day of class
it was my early 6years old days when my daady just came in from his working place. hea said by tomorrow i will goung to one primary school which he has obtained the form for me. the next day he drove me with his car and we entered the school premises. it was a new world entirely and scene are diffeent i use to be seeing various garden of flowers and fantastic building like they are falling down from heaven. i cound also see some beautiful faces nad very charming teachers. i was lead to the principal office. the first thing i saw was a smiling face with pure whitw teeth as if it had never been used to eat before. after was a warm voice of acceptance. many questions which were so boring to me were asked as i hardly understand them becuase i havent been to school before and i was used to my native language. i just nodded to all the question he asked. my father who was averagely learned was helping me in other areas he felt my nodding was wrong.
30 minutes later i was brouhgt into a class where i found young people like me with female teacher dressed in red over white. all attention was on me, i could't withstand the overall eyes as i bust into great tears. infact not much persuation to stay that day in the school could count as my daddy just say okay he will come back tomorrow.
