Rahul Dravid ,no doubt is the strength of indian test and oneday batting lineup. But hasn't the pressure of captaincy affecting his performance recently. Moreover he is unable to motivate the team in the same manner as GANGULY did, isn't it??So what do u think?is he still a good captain

Dravid is a decent gentleman and one of the best captains India has ever seen. The team members keep changing and a team is a like a typewriter - if one key is not functioning, it cannot generate a letter. Ganguly was a good captain and a player but he was too arrogant and bossy and could not take everyone along with him.

He is the best captain for India at this earlier stage. He is calm, quiet and wanting to win. those are the requirement of a great leader. He ll defenitely shine in the upcoming years.
Comparing Ganguly is not worthy. bcoz he hasent proved himself as a good batsman under his captaincy. you can look at his records as captain. It is his worst part of the carrier. We cannot keep a captain ( or even a player) for just the team is winning. As a captain he should lead from the front by batting and fielding. According to me Ganguly is not a good fielder.
regards,
Maha

Rahul Dravid is great cricketer. He is a good student of the game. he has good cricket brain. And he top class batsman who is one of the most consistent batsman around the world today. And so i feel Dravid is good, aggressive captain though his style of captaincy is different from ganguly. I feel dravid likes to lead by example as he himself puts 100% effort, take responsibility and wants the teamdo well. and he is total team man. So i feel he is decent captain. The england tour will be important for him as captain and as batsman too.

Yes indeed rahul dravid is a great batsmen..
he has alwayz fighted out the team in the most difficult conditions...
He is complete team man...
I dont think so..tht captainship has affected him...
He is performing more efficently...
He has done so much for the team...
Yes i think to some extent He is not able to motivate the team to that heights that ganguly has done...
But HE is alwayz done anything for the team...
But tht doest mean he is not good captain..
He is Infact a very good player and captain...
