did rehman lost his ability ?

the recent songs of rehman made me think that he is not the same person who gave us those exquisite melodies in 90s.what i heard was a mere imitation of his past songs.is rehman going through a musical drought? do send your commends.........

His songs thisdays does not trill me as used to thoseday, but i think he is only trying to remixed or modernised his old songs, who knows he is only trying to be unique~!!!

No I dont think so that a.r. rehman is undergoing any musical drought. Just see his latest album - PRAY FOR ME BROTHER ...now that's what we call music with full dedication. He has always composed songs on our motherland India, Humanity, Love, Poverty,...I think he has got the deepest knowledge of what the song should be like. His 'Vande Matram' is the favourite of all times...
