Hello mani123! Nice to meet you. I am from Germany. Over here Nokia cellphones advertize too as connecting people. Yes, mylot is connecting people, too. It makes me happy to get to know people from around the world at mylot. It is like having penpals in the good old days. We would never have met if it wasn`t for mylot. Happy mylotting.

i completely agree with you. it is indeed "Connecting People" from all walks of life, all the countries across the world, people with varying and conflicting and matching interests. It is a great place to share one's thoughts. It is a great place to learn about the cultures, the thoughts of the people across the world. I am enjoying and learning a lot at mylot..... kudos to whoever developed the concept of mylot..

I agree with you and this is a great way to connect with other people. I do wonder if older people are more in awe of this fact as younger people have been brought up knowing the Internet and mobile phones. When you are a bit older you remember when people didn't have mobiles and before the Internet the only way you could meet people from around the world was by finding pen friends and then you would have to write letters and wait for them to be received and replied to. It still amazes me at how small the world is becoming.
