Purpose in Life Beyond Money

Suicide is perhaps the most tragic end that anyone can experience. It is understandable if a person or a family is driven to commit suicide by extreme poverty, unbearable sorrow or physical ailment. But what makes the rich and famous do such a disastrous act?
Such cases of well to do people committing suicide, depression, unhappiness and a general lack of will to live are cited as reasons for their taking such a stingent measure. If these reasons are true, they prove that money, fame and material comforts do not make a person happy. Why can't wealth bring happiness when we work hard to acquuire wealth? What is happiness to you?

In my opinion,we live in a wealth world!Money can bring so much to us.we can do nothing without money!

Now,I have not much money.I want to by a pair of shoes,but if I do that,I will be hungered this month.
My house will break down also.But my family has no money to rebuild it. First,I have to finish my school quickly and earn enough money to do what I want to...

my purpose in life beyond money is to render service to my community, to be the 2nd parent to my students, able to impart knowledge, skills and attitude. i would be happy to share it w/ my kids and to others. i'm also trying my best to be a good mother, teacher and wife.for me happiness is to fulfill ur dreams in life not just in terms of money esp. a happy family w/c is a blessing from God.be contended of what u have in life.share ur blessings!

Money isn't the root of happiness, that's why. To be happy, you need love, honesty, friendship, sharing and caring in your life. Money buys none of that and in fact, some of the rich and famous in this world are very, very lonely. Some of them are quite highly strung, some are gay, some are short of work, some have too much... but, at the end of the day, a great deal of them are alone in the world. They have their fans, but nobody to really love and care for them. The paparazzi follow them around everywhere and snoop into their private lives. The have money, but no freedom! They are the reasons.

Happiness is a state of mind. If you think and decide to be lonely for a period of time you will suffer depression not unless you decide to hold it together and lighten your mood
