Cats & Yogurt

Both my cats love yogurt. But, I am not sure if it is healthy for them, as they can get the runs. So they only get a tiny bit, about 1 teaspoons worth.

At heart, my cat is a vegan. So, yeah, he likes yogurt, and sour cream. He eats cheddar cheese and plain cheese. Plus, there are the regular assortment of veggies too. Like if I'm preparing salad for the evening meal, he has to be fed tomatos and lettuce. He's a total indoor cat, so he doesn't get to eat grass. So, maybe that's why he loves veggies so much.

Since it is a milk based product I would think that all cats like it. Our two try to steal a taste. Since milk and milk products (and most human foods) are not good for cats, we don't allow them to have any.

Our cats don't like yogurt. I've tried to give it to them since it's good for the digestive system and they won't eat it. Every once in awhile one of the cats might take a taste or two, but that's it.

Most cats like it. But dont give them to much. They will get the runs and thats not fun for them or you!!! A little every couple days is ok but not more than that.

Mine love yogurt. No matter the flavor! I have such a hard time eating it around them because they are always trying to lick the spoon. When i'm done, I do let them lick the container.

i had two kittens two years back they ate all kind of stuffs including yogurts.i like yogurt and eat it every morning so my mom would give my kittens also to eat yogurt and they ate it with great taste.
