why should minorities only get reservations in our country

this discussion is for all who have a question to the indian government that why should minorities only in our country should get reservation , general people are not people or what ? they should also get their proper rights that was decided at the time of constitution and a they shouldn,t try to create a new constitution

when india got independence it was a clause in our constitution to provide reservation to the minorities so that they can come at par with the society,but constitution laid reservation only till 2000 ,but now leaders have made this reservation a political issue,i am totally against reservation and i think reservation is posing a threat to the progress of our country.
