People who are above 1000 get many responses.

There is no such thing in mylot. I have gone past the 2000 mark but have discussions with two or three responses. My advice to you is to keep responding and start a discussion once you respond over 25 times. Then later resolve your discussion by rating everyone and choosing a best response before starting a new discussion. Then gradually everyone will get used to your style and responses could increase.

Thats truly not fact. In fact, in my case you can see more number of discussions without response till today. Only easy and attractive to give the responses will be more honored than the seniority here. So be brave and pose easy unique from earlier routine discussions to get maximum responses. Its all in the skill and innovativeness of the member only. There is no hard guidelines for getting responses.

It probably depends on how popular he or she is. That person probably has a lot of friends that's willing to respond to his/her discussion. Maybe it could also show how well they start their discussions. There was a time when I was about to reach 200 posts, start a new discussion and get up to over 20 responses in a couple of hours. It has nothing to do with the number next to the avatar.

i am not so sure that is true. i think it is more about friends, and having the post emailed to you. when you make a friend and put notify me on. when they post something it is emailed to you so you can answer that question fast. the more friends you have the more post that are sent to you. and you should really get a avatar. i know for me, i rather post to people with avatars and i am not sure why, lol. but it just makes it more personable. good luck

haha... sometime i have only 2 or more response too. It just depends. Ya, maybe he or she is popular and has alot of friends. It just take time to know more friends here. Sometime my discussion is interesting and most people can share their view easily. But recently i prefer to reply to others response.

That is not always true dearie. Sometimes even a newbie can get a 100 responses. You just need to strike the right chords and make your discussion interesting. I myself do not get more than a dozen response. it has actually become a big challenge for me to be able to generate at least 20 responses. i know i will get there someday, and so will you. So just keep pressing on!

I think you have misunderstood.How many responses you have got is not dependant on how many responses you have responded,but is dependant on how attarctive you discussion.If your discussion is so attractive and special,you also can get so many responses.Don't worry.Believe yourself and you can do it.Good luck to you.
