Or rather, what secrets are ok to be kept away from your partner? Any nasty stories for revealing more then you should have to your partner? Do share

I don't think you should be keeping any secrets from your partner. How will your partner be able to completely trust you if you can't tell them everything. My relationship is built on trust and if I find out that my spous has kept a secret then it is a breach of that trust. I don't expect him to tell me gifts he has purchased for me and he doesn't expect me to tell him any gifts, however if I show up with something for him and it is in an unmarked box and he askes about it I tell him it is his b.day or christmas or whatever gift. I also wrap it immediately so that he is unable to peek without me knowing. To make it fair I normally leave it at a friends until the day before so it doesn't drive him nuts! He does the same so we aren't keeping a secret yet we aren't revealing anything either. Surprise parties are another secret that should be kept if it for him.
