Am I The Only One? Or Am I Actually Getting Bored?

I have been a member of MyLot since Nov/06 and have done pretty well on it.However,about 3 weeks ago I became bored with MyLot (for the second time) and decided to stop contributing until i was ready with fresh thoughts and ideas.Today is my first day back since making that decision.You are the second person in less than an hour to question the fun/entertainment/sharing ability of Mylot.So I guess there was a reason I came back today;to encourage you and others to take a break occassopnally from Mylot if you feel "tapped out" but remember it is always there when you get your mojo back!.

I've only been here a couple of months and I already feel that way. I still enjoy mylot though and it's worth it when you find a decent discussion, it's just hard sometimes. The hardest for me is thinking of original discussions to start myself as they've all been done before.

well this certainly is happening to me, but it seems to happen just before the deadline for a payment. When the month starts, im all hyped up about getting to the minimum payment, then once ive done this, my motivation slips away and instead im scratching around looking for things to respond to and trying to think of new discussions to launch. Of course, what i should do is take time out and go do something else for a few days, but im just so addicted i find it impossible to leave. Therefore, although i get bored, i stay and witter about it lol. Ill feel better tommorow and the whole cycle will begin again. Just keep on posting and hope motivation returns blessed be

Hello,fliffy.my activity is lower than beofre,i think there will always be up and down moment in mylot,sometimes,i cannot find some good discussions to reply,i have tried to find some old discussions from some of the members to reply,in doing this,I think i can find something more interesting to answer.

Well, I want to say that we share the common opinion. I joined in mylot nearly two month, during the time, I was once interested in mylot, and came here everyday. But then, I became bored with it and couldn't help thinking what's the meaning of my coming here, and what could it do for me? Finally, I came to a conclusion that I came here only for money, yet I acturally couldn't make much here. That depressed me and made me leave this site for a month. Today, I remember it and come here to see if there are something new with it. It seems to me that mylot is operating as usual, without new changes or charms. When I saw your topic, I feel relieved for at least there is someone has the same opinion with me. Today, I come back here not for new passion, so I may leave here again when I can't bear it.

No, your not being annoying at all. What I think we have to remember is that with so many members we are going to find a lot of discussions about the same subject.

I have had the mylot cabin fever lately. For the last 2 weeks I've found it hard to find any really good discussions to respond to. I also found it hard to start any in that time. I did manage a bit iof work here still though. I've gotten rid of some friends and have started on a new friends search mission also to change this possibly. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

i think its pretty normal. Its not only you and in some point in time everybody experience this boredom but in time when you get back the energy then you will learn how it really goes here and you will learn how to make everything interesting. Many discussion are getting in from time to time so some of it are already buried and its difficult to find especially in so little time you have. Sometimes it will just eat your time just by looking only for quality discussion but now i have learn to look for better one.

Why are your thinking tht it is useless and get bored of it. Acutally you are helping the users by solving their poblem. It is your duty to contribute and make the part of mylot. THis is upto others user whether they can make the use of your thoughts and opinion. Please don't get panic and frustrate please advice us and share your opinion regularly.

Of late, I have been getting similar feeling. I am not able to figure out exactly as to what actually the reason is, though. Some of the discussions pertain to the subjects that seem to be too localised and cannot, by any stretch of imagination, be considered suited to an international forum like myLot. Or, may be we are getting fed up of too much of myLotting?

I created a discussion about this very subject a week or two ago and it is a shame to see the quality of discussions falling in recent times. This is just my opinion but it does seem that way especially over the last few weeks. I only ever try to contribute to mylot with quality topics and discussion.

I find that once in a while when I log in I find there are any discussions that I am intrested in. So I respond to what I can and leave the rest for another day.

No doubt, boredom creeps in from time to time, and I think the other comments that mention "already made payout, why bother?" syndrome are right on the money. I have a minor tip, if he isn't already, put alfieklondyke on your friends list. He comes up with some of the funniest, zaniest discussions I've ever seen! Peace!

sorry i only joined a week ago so its all exciting for me maybe you could add a new interest something you dont know alot about it could be fun to talk about something your not to sure about.

Im Just new on mylot. I feel the same thing about this site actually. First I entered here, all i imagine is more interactively convrsation inside. and what I've got? With the highest population member, My Lot Should be "active" tahan this. Fliffy,.. can we just making a friendship?
