I've been to JA 5 or 6 times actually and I absolutely love it there..I did the Dunns River tour the first time I went which is when I was 11...the other times i've been has been with my husband and my kids and we dont do the tours....My husband and I got married in JA actually...not a big wedding just us and the kids which was nice....
What i love the most about Jamaica is that it feels like home to me....My father was born in Antigua but grew up in JA and since I was adopted out I never knew the man...going to JA gives me a feeling close to "goin home"....its really hard to explain but I just love everything about being there and there has never been anywhere else that gives me that feeling ya know......

Yep I have been to Jamaica. Two years ago, We (hubby and I) went to Montego Bay. It is simply gorgeous there and a great holiday. We learned alot about the island and it's people and went on a few tours and trips around the countryside as well. The only thing we didn't like was the hotel we stayed in. It was one of the Sandals ones and did npt have it's own beach. When you went to the beach across the street it was full of locals trying to sell you gaunja. Don't even know if that is the right spelling. However, Sandles did offer us free visits to other Sandals hotels while we were there with regular bussing transportation around the resorts. That was great and we got a chance to experience 4 resorts for the price of lone, lol! Next time (if there is a next time) that we visit Jamiaica, because there are lots of other places we really want to experience, we would likely stay at the Sandals resort closest to Dunns River Falls-we liked that one that absolute best! Of course, I would stay again in a Sandals no matter which island we go to.

Yes, I have been there. I thought it to be quite beautiful too. The falls were stunning, as well as all the colorful flowers. I especially liked the simple, but lovely craft works done out of the coconuts.

I was married on Doctor's Cave Beach, on a giant chess board by the sea.
That's in Montego Bay. I fell in love with the island right after we got there! The sunsets alone fill up a photo album! With the Blue Mountains in the background, it was just so beautiful.
A local we became friends with took us to Runaway Bay, and to Dunn's River Falls. We went through the caves in Runaway Bay and it was awesome. Our maid of honor and best man climbed the falls....we just had pics taken and looked around. Next time I wanna climb, too!!
I would have to say the people were the best! We hit it off with our bartender, and every chance he had that he wasn't working (not very many...they work long and hard) he showed us around and kept people from trying to sell us things. He invented a special shot for us on our wedding day.
I wanted to stay forever!! (Especially since it was January, and there was snow at home, lol)
