yes, i will lend it out of courtesy. then i will not use it again until i have washed it and brushed it well with soap and water. as i lend it, i will ask the friend why she didn't bother to bring her own comb. it is not a good habit since the owner might have scalp problems and he/she will get it too, in the process. while i was still a student, i commonly encounter these kind of people who loves to comb their hair but never bothered to bring one of their own. so, i always bring two units. one for my sole use and the other one for those who loves to borrow.

We do not share comb among our family members also. So, it is not good to share with others. When I was at school/ college, I carried a brown coloured comb in a small pouch in my left pocket for borrowers and a black coloured one in my right-hand pocket for my own use.
If someone borrowed the brown one, I would clean it with soap and warm water when I came home. Fortunately, in the office there are very rare occasions when someone desires to borrow. Thank you for sharing your technique.
