84-109 San Antonnil spurs win the Utah jazz.
For the fourth time in eight years the San Antonio Spurs will be representing the Western Conference in the NBA Finals after closing out the Utah Jazz 109-84.

It was inevitable that the San Antonio Spurs would win against the Utah Jazz. Sure, the Utah Jazz has one of the best young point guards in Deron Williams, but nobody can deny the presence of Tim Duncan, arguably the NBA's best player. Not only do the Spurs have the advantage talent-wise, but it also has the better coach in Gregg Popovich. Pop is a great strategist and his suffocating defense allowed Jazz to only take outside shots, which is not their specialty. The Jazz might be a contender again next year, but desperately needs to improve their outside shooting and needs to acquire a solid 2-guard, instead of an undersized Derek Fisher.

yeah..the spurs did it again and they were not the no. 1 team in the west during the regular season...
the BIG reason for this is DUNCAN...no doubt he is the best big man in the nba today...
it would be interesting to see a match up of a team who is trying to get a fourth title in 6 or 7 years or a team that is trying to get to the finals through a promise of a young player named LEBRON...

I said in another post it would be SA b/c Tx. teams are tough....
I predict it will be the Cavaliers they will face but it doesn't matter b/c my money is on SA to win the whole thing. Of course I'm not making any predictions b/c it is far to soon.
